Community rallies to help family left homeless by fire

Open Rhodes weekend returns Nov. 12-13

Once again many of the good folks who live on Rhodes Avenue in East York will be turning their homes into art galleries for the weekend of November 12-13 as the 8th annual Open Rhodes Art Show and Sale takes place on the cozy little street south off Danforth Ave. a block west of Coxwell. A wide range of art products will be on display in the homes from 1 pm – 7 pm each day, including jewelry, pottery, lampwork glass, acrylic and oil painting, fabric art, mixed media, photography, sculpture and more. As part of the artists giving back to their community, there will be an Artist Raffle benefitting East End Childrens Centre.  Raffle tickets and prizes will be at 695 Rhodes Avenue during the show.
