East End Arts wants your ideas at community consultations

EEA consultation newThe East End Arts non-profit organization supporting various artistic initiatives in East York and area is holding four upcoming meetings to get the public’s input as to how it should move forward.

The meetings take place Tues. Nov. 14 at Crescent Town Club (2A The Market Place, on Crescent Town Road), Wed. Nov. 22 at Community Centre 55 (55 Main St.); Mon. Nov. 27 at the Royal Canadian Legion’s Todmorden Branch (1083 Pape Ave.) and Tues. Dec. 5 at Matty Eckler Community Centre (953 Gerrard St. E.).  All of the meetings take place from 6-8 p.m. except the one in Crescent Town, which runs 7-9 p.m.

Light refreshments will be provided along with children’s activities for those attending with youngsters in tow.

The group says it wants the public to “share your ideas about how to unite, inspire and enhance arts, culture and community in Toronto’s east end.”
